HELLO, AND WELCOME TO CHASER OF THE LIGHT
A BLOG OF MY TRAVELS,
AND MY THOUGHTS ALONG THE WAY…
I am currently on a gap year in between finishing my A Levels and starting University in September 2017. Chaser of the Light came into being because I wanted a space to keep people updated on where I am and what I’m doing as I embark on some pretty cool adventures. What’s with the name? Check out this post for an explanation.
Between January-March , I was living in Sandema, Upper East Ghana, working with the charity International Service. Myself, 5 other UK volunteers and five Ghanaian volunteers worked with International Service’s partner organisation, the Presbyterian Community Based Rehabilitation (PCBR) charity, on their LIFE Project in Sandema. Our focus was working with those who suffer human rights abuses as people living with disabilities, aiding their integration into mainstream education and participation in their communities in general (if you want to know more about my time with International Service check out my ‘Ghana’ posts).
My current location is San Jose, Costa Rica. I’m in the process of a five month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with an organisation called Youth With a Mission. (See my ‘Costa Rica’ posts to see what I’m up to).
I hope you’ll follow my journey through my updates whilst I’m off around the world. If you click the follow button (to the right), I’ll send you an email every time there’s a new post.
